Jessica Morgan

is a contemporary photographer based in the United States. Though she calls Tacoma, WA her home, she loves to travel and to take her work across the country. A photographer who specializes in capturing the feeling and movement of a moment, Jessica’s work spans both the creative and commercial worlds, honoring her first loves: fine art, music, and connecting communities.

“A photographer is often the invisible narrator of stories we consume daily.

“Photographs and film and any medium you can think of all serve as markers of what a collective people have experienced at specific points in time. Through joy and through hardship, art is a fact - it can’t be denied and it refuses to be looked past. Any given piece can walk you through the riches and trenches of history and show you exactly someone else’s perspective. It can show you what one is thinking and feeling and seeing across decades and centuries, miles and oceans, as long as you are willing to put yourself outside of your own thinking. Art will show you more about its creator than sometimes its creator ever intended or realized.

To wield the power of photography is to wield the power of story-telling. Using my own creative photography as a tool to uplift the creative work of others is a focus that has called to me since my time in undergrad. I have worked with bands, artists, models, and designers to make images that showcase the creator’s best work and expertise in their respective field. I can only aim to leave my mark in history alongside theirs.“
